BRAELEIGH

Once you become Fearless, life becomes Limitless.
- Nishant Patel

My name is Carol, and I am the very proud grandma to Braeleigh, born with Apert syndrome, Chiari malformation, hydrocephalus, and syndactyly of hands and feet. She turned seven in June and, to date, has had 23 surgeries.

We live in Kentucky, where there are no quality craniofacial teams anywhere close to us, and so we travel to Salt Lake City to see her craniofacial surgeon. That is where FACES comes in because without their financial assistance for travel, I am not sure how we would get Braeleigh the quality care she needs and deserves.

If we ever have an emergency, as we had in September 2021, FACES is one of the first to send a heartfelt message asking what they can do to help Braeleigh get to her medical team in Utah.

Thank you to the FACES team, and all who support FACES, for taking some of the stress and worry off my shoulders. I will never be able to thank you all enough!

With Love,
Grandma Carol
