Help send kids to FACES Camp!

Each summer, FACES: The National Craniofacial Association sponsors FACES Camp, which sends youth ages 7-17 with craniofacial anomalies to camp in Cloudland, Georgia. With your help, we can send 25 kids on the summer adventure of a lifetime.

Sponsor a Child for FACES Camp!

It costs $1095 for one child to spend a 5-day session at FACES Camp. These fees include full tuition for week-long overnight housing, food, medical care, daily activities, and events. By sponsoring one of our campers, you can help alleviate the costs to their families and give these kids a summer they will never forget!

Your gift makes a personal difference to a child touched by craniofacial differences. You will receive a thank you note from your sponsored camper(s) with a Commemorative Camp Photograph.

Why is FACES Camp important? Kids with facial differences don’t often have the chance to be with a group of their peers who look like them and who can relate to similar medical issues. FACES Camp provides a haven for kids to make a best friend, to summon the courage to ride a horse, climb the rock wall, or attempt public speaking by telling a story around the campfire.

These life-changing experiences build our kids’ courage, confidence, success, and leaders. One parent reported her teenage daughter was her "happiest and most confident self " after her week at FACES Camp last summer. The experience was "transformational for her after meeting other kids face to face with shared experience of craniofacial differences” and is wanting to be a camp counselor in the future. Parents reported increased self-confidence and independence at home and school in their children after FACES Camp.

Our campers and counselors send sponsors a personalized thank you note and group photo to express their appreciation for camp. Here are a few of their grateful remarks:

"Thank you for letting me spend a week with my friends who I saw last year at camp and for letting me be independent"

"I am a counselor and camp has been amazing! All the kids have enjoyed spending time at a 'regular' camp hanging out with craniofacial peers and making friends from across the United States."

"Thank you for camp!. My favorite thing to do is to talk to my new friends. I also like doing the challenge course."

"As a counselor this week has been incredible opportunity to witness the joy that FACES Camp has created for the campers. As someone who has grown up with a craniofacial difference, I wholeheartedly say THANK YOU for donating to make this camp possible!"

Please consider being an Individual Sponsor and make a transformative gift for a child living with a facial difference. They are waiting to have the best week of their life!
